Springs Food Pantry Presents to East Hampton Town Board

On September 16, Springs Food Pantry had the opportunity to present to the East Hampton Town Board and share our story — our mission, programs, and the impact we’re making for Springs families.
Director and Chairperson Holly Reichart-Wheaton spoke about our history, the continuing rise in food insecurity, and the way our all-volunteer team works every week to ensure no Springs family goes hungry. We also shared data on the hypothetical cost of living for a family of four in Springs, the dramatic growth in the number of families served, where we get our funding and the vital role that Town support plays in closing the gap.
