Gratitude in the Garden 🌱

Last Sunday, Kira Brandman, our Board Member and Operations Director, attended the annual Share the Harvest Farm Summer Soirée benefit — and took a moment to offer a heartfelt thank-you on behalf of Springs Food Pantry.

This partnership began in 2010, when our Director and Chairperson Holly Reichart-Wheaton connected with Share the Harvest founders John Malafronte, Ira Bezoza, and Peter Goreham to launch the Pantry’s very first farm partnership — a collaboration rooted in a shared commitment to feeding our neighbors with dignity and healthy choices.

Week after week, Share the Harvest’s generous donations help fill our recipients’ bags with fresh, local, nourishing produce and vegetables — and fill our hearts with gratitude. This collaboration is a beautiful reminder of what community looks like when we work together to care for one another.
