We’re incredibly grateful to the Town of East Hampton for providing an emergency grant of $10,000 to help sustain Springs Food Pantry during a time of sharp and sudden growth.
Since August, we’ve experienced a 15% increase in the number of recipients visiting the Pantry each week — a reflection of the continued affordability crisis affecting families across our community.

This emergency funding helps bridge the gap — but only partially. Roughly 25% of our funding comes from grants like this; the rest comes from the generosity of individual donors and community fundraising events.
“Our hope is that someday there is no need for the Food Pantry. But until then, we'll keep showing up to support our community.”
— Holly Reichart-Wheaton, Director and Chairperson, Springs Food Pantry
We thank the Town for recognizing the urgency and stepping in to help us continue providing fresh, nutritious food to hundreds of families each week.
