June 3, 2025, was a day of recognition and celebration!
We’re honored to share that Springs Food Pantry received two meaningful awards recognizing our work and partnerships within the East End community.

The first came from The Hamptons Festival of Music (THFM), following their beautiful event, Sunset Serenades: A Hamptons Summer Celebration, led by Artistic Director Michael Palmer. Presented by Chris Ganitch, the award included a $1,000 donation from the event proceeds—support that helps us continue feeding neighbors in need.

Chris also generously gifted us two tickets to THFM’s September 11th concert, which we’ll feature in our raffle at the upcoming Springs Garden Party on June 28. In her presentation, she beautifully described the connection between our missions: “Food for the body, food for the soul.” We couldn’t agree more.

Later that day, we were moved to receive a second honor—this one presented by Dan Mason, former warden of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in East Hampton. This award came on behalf of Rev. Dr. Benjamin Shaumbaugh, the vestry, the wardens, and the people of St. Luke’s, in recognition of the work we’ve done together to support our shared community.

These gestures of support and solidarity remind us that what we do is never done alone—it’s the result of a caring, connected community.
To The Hamptons Festival of Music and St. Luke’s, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And to all our volunteers and supporters: these awards are for you!
