“My lifelong commitment is community service, rooted in my upbringing in Springs where neighborly support was the norm. Whether opening scallops, securing harvests before rainfall, or providing food to the unemployed, residents readily assisted one another. This spirit of giving was exemplified by my mother, Betty Reichart, who co-founded Springs Food Pantry in 1992. She and fellow church members collected and distributed food to struggling families, upholding their dignity without judgment. I want to continue this legacy. I firmly believe in universal opportunity and compassion regardless of circumstances.”
