2017 marked the 25th anniversary of the Springs Food Pantry!
In 1992, it was established as a mission of the Springs Community Presbyterian Church to help our local fishing and farming families get through the tough winter months.
We have been and continue to be a completely volunteer organization, consisting of people both within and outside the congregation.
26 Years and Growing
While we are financially independent and nondenominational, we operate under the auspices of the church and their
501(c) (3). Thus, your donation is completely tax deductible
to the fullest extent permitted by law.
All monetary donations go to food and to materials packaging the food. We are open year round on Wednesdays from
4-6 pm, serve all needy families within the Springs School District, and have operated without interruption for
fifty-two weeks of the year for the past twenty-five years.
We participate in several annual fundraising efforts with the East Hampton Food Pantry and other food pantries, including the Polar Bear Plunge.
